We will be launching a raffle with exciting prizes such as a meal for two at The Boathouse, a meal for two at The Larder House, an HE Aquatics voucher... and more! |
During the summer of 2025, we are hosting a number of events and activities to raise funds to replace the cladding on our clubhouse.
Our club is located on the seafront and consequently takes quite a battering from the elements and sadly our building needs some TLC; the cladding has holes in it, the surface is worn in places and would likely not meet fire regulations.
As a charity funded solely through member subscriptions and community donations and charitable grants (few and far between) our resources are limited and although we do have a substantial amount saved towards the cost of replacement cladding we need to raise additional funds.
Our clubhouse is critical to our operations. We train from here all year around. We store equipment and host training events for both our club and also other clubs locally. We support the RNLI in the bay by providing new lifeguards each year and with beach patrols and local events, such as the Brownsea Island Swim, Pier to Pier and Macmillan Caring Locally White Christmas Dip.
