September sees the last of our regular beach sessions. Sadly due to circumstances beyond our control, it was a short beach season and a full life saving training and sporting programme was not possible. Nonetheless members and organisers embraced the opportunity to be on the beach and in the sea and adapted well to the new normal of training in bubbles using limited equipment and keeping safe distances from each other. For many reasons it has been a summer season to remember, not least because of some awesome waves and wonderful sunsets as you can see. We now prepare to move into the pool and wait to see what the winter season holds.
